The Science Café event took place at the premises of Hiša eksperimentov in cooperation with University Medical Centre Ljubljana.
In the beginning, the doctor introduced the history of the epidemic and pandemic phenomenon in history. Then the lecture explained the character of viruses that have influenced our civilisation in modern times (SARS, MORS, CORONA). The problem of methodological gathering of data with patients, tested positive for virus and those who have been in contact with positive patients or have been cured but are still positive has been shown.
Sources of relevant data for analysis of pandemic, viruses and development of pandemic have been presented. The debate with the visitors followed after the lecture at the coffee break.
